2023 Museum Opening Party & New Exhibit Reveal

Join us as we celebrate our 2023 Museum Opening! Enjoy live entertainment, delicious dinner choices from our food truck, Kissed By Fire, dessert from Julie Ann's Frozen Custard Truck, samples from local craft breweries, and a 60/40 raffle as MCHS officially kicks off its 60th year with our Museum Opening event! This event is open to members, friends, and the public. MCHS Members are encouraged to bring a friend, and those who do will be entered into a prize drawing!

In honor of this anniversary and to share the history of McHenry County, the Anderson Gallery will feature a unique exhibition called "60 Years, 60 Objects: Stories from McHenry County." This exhibit will showcase 60 never-before-seen objects from the historical society's collection.
