Television producer Lisa Carl of Chicago looks on while Christmas collector Dave Harms provides details for the Decades TV Network in Chicago on the type of aluminum Christmas trees produced in this country during the 1960s . The CBS affiliate combines entertainment and history in the original series 'Through the Decades" – a daily time capsule highlighting historically significant events during a particular period of our past. Harms and partner Lynne Eltrevoog shared their display with the public during the McHenry County Historical Society's annual Holiday Open House which ended Jan. 8. The finished documentary is expected to air around December later this year on WCIU or a Channel 2 sub-channel. More details to follow.
