Oct. 20, 21, and 22 – Friday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The McHenry County Historical Society & Museum hosts vendor spaces for the Autumn Drive fall event each year at one of the museum's satellite properties, Perkins Hall, at 3601 Franklinville Rd. Woodstock, IL 60098. Our building and grounds are rented out to vendors for the occasion. MCHS representatives will be on-site selling quilt raffle tickets, museum memberships, and books on local history. Our site also provides two food trucks and a portable restroom. Although booth spaces are limited, there are still some available for rent. For more information on renting vendor space, please contact us at info@mchenrycountyhistory.org.
What to expect: Autumn Drive allows you to explore rural McHenry County, its local artists and crafters, and their creations as you drive to the different stops scattered throughout the County. At these stops, you might find fall produce, pumpkins, honey, jams, soaps, flavored vinegar, pottery, jewelry, lawn ornaments, and antique dealers offering refurbished furniture, trunks, cookbooks, tools, and vintage jewelry. Some participating sites offer tractor rides, petting zoos, hay rides, and pumpkin and apple launchers. Apple and pumpkin picking is also available in the fields. The Autumn Drive website provides complete festival information, including maps and vendor information.
