2024 Mt. Thabor Cemetery Walk

Join local historian and McHenry County cemetery expert Trudie Dreyer as she takes you on one of our most popular walking tours of one of the County's first Catholic cemeteries. Learn about its origins and the interesting—and sometimes tragic—lives of the adults and children buried there. The walk will take about 90 minutes, with a question session to follow. The cemetery is located on the northwest corner at the intersection of Route 176 and Mt. Thabor Road in Woodstock. Because of parking restrictions, registration is limited to the first 30 participants.
