Volunteer with us

The McHenry County Historical Society & Museum extends a warm welcome to individuals of all ages and abilities. We offer many volunteer opportunities that cater to various interests, such as event planning, data entry, indexing, filing, research, genealogy, leading adult and school tours, greeting visitors, and showcasing talents in quilting, tatting, weaving, and spinning. Additionally, we provide avenues to assist with special events, exhibit construction, museum maintenance, and community outreach programs.
